How to save from Instagram to Restash

File a Reel or post into your Restash vault in a few taps — then find it when Instagram Saves would have buried it.

You need Restash installed first.

Download on the App Store

Steps

  1. Install Restash from the App Store and complete sign-in.
  2. Open Instagram and navigate to the Reel or post you want to keep.
  3. Tap Share. In the system share sheet, choose Restash. If you do not see it, tap More and enable Restash.
  4. Confirm in Restash that the item appears on your board as a save card.

Tips

  • Save with intention — recipes, workouts, places, refs you will use.
  • After a few saves, try Ask: “dinner ideas from my recipe saves.”
  • Restash also accepts TikTok shares and screenshots into the same vault.

FAQ

Does this replace Instagram Saves?

You can still use Instagram Saves. Restash is the vault for items you want to retrieve and use later.

I do not see Restash in the share sheet

Install the app, open it once, then in the share sheet tap More and toggle Restash on. Restart Instagram if needed.
